One day a world traveler came to me with a special request. Could I take an authentic Peruvian Mola and frame it the fabric so it can hang from a pole. Like so many things made by hand by indigenous people, molas are precious. I was flattered by the level of trust she placed with me and happy with her delight, seeing her finished mola.
I got a phone call from a woman with children's voices around her. She was calling from the RV dealership as the decision to buy was at hand. She said her husband refused to buy the RV unless slipcovers could be made with Route 66 fabric. I assured her it could be done. They are now happily touring the country with their 4 children.
